I bought this wrench to break loose the oil plugs on Cat engines. They are always really tight and I was tired of using breaker bars and cheater pipes. I have used a pork chop (bud lug wrench) as a striking wrench in this application, and it worked ok sometimes, but it was not ideal for the job. This Williams wrench is much better. The edges are milled flat, so you get maximum contact with the bolt head. The twelve point end allows you to position it for easy striking. I just hit it two or three times with a three pound hammer, and the plug is loose. So easy.
